THE UNIVERSITY OF WINDSOR
The University of Windsor is a comprehensive, student-centred university, with more than 16,500 students enrolled in a broad range of undergraduate and graduate programs. It is located in Southwestern Ontario in the middle of the greatest concentration of renewable energy in Canada, surrounded by the world's largest freshwater resource. UWindsor is Canada's southernmost University and is situated next to North America's most economically critical international border crossing.
The University is in a strong growth phase with 50 new Faculty Positions announced and a new Downtown Campus opening. Our main campus borders the spectacular Detroit Riverfront bring your active clothing for a run or roll along the 5km Odette Sculpture Garden Trail!
WINDSOR AND ESSEX COUNTY
Windsor, Ontario is the southernmost city in Canada. The Detroit River is to the north of the city, which separates it from Detroit, Michigan. Windsor has an urban population of 280,000, making it the 16th largest population centre in Canada. Windsor is widely known to be a major contributor to Canada's automotive and tech sectors, though it has much to offer in the way of history and culture.
Windsor and its surrounding Essex County boast never ending summer festivals that delight at the water's edge. From riverside concerts to the burgeoning South Coast Winery Sector, the region is a jewel for active and leisure pursuits. The Windsor and Essex County Tourism Site offers an extraordinary view into what the area has to offer.

EANR2017 will follow the fond tradition of other EEI events - to celebrate the connection with colleagues old and new over a beautiful winery tour/tasting and banquet. You will see first hand how Essex County has won countless awards as Canada's Southern Wine Region.
